Kamuda arşiv hizmetleri mevzuatlar çerçevesinde yürütülür. TBMM Kütüphane ve Arşiv Hizmetleri Başkanlığı milletvekillerinin yasama sürecinde ihtiyaç duyabileceği bilgi ve belge hizmetlerini sunmak amacıyla kurulmuştur. Bağlı bulunduğu kurumun mevzuatları çerçevesinde dış araştırmacılara da bilgi ve belge hizmeti sunmaktadır. Arşiv bilgi hizmetleri de bu çerçevede yürütülmektedir. Meclis arşivinde, 23 Nisan 1920 tarihli ilk toplantısından bugüne, TBMM, Millet Meclisi, Cumhuriyet Senatosu, Kurucu Meclis, Temsilciler Meclisi, Milli Birlik Komitesi, Milli Güvenlik Konseyi ve Danışma Meclisi’nden meydana gelen Parlamentonun tüm tutanaklarına, “anahtar kelime, seçim bölgesi, milletvekili adı, konu, meclis adı, yasama dönemi, yasama yılı, tarih aralığı” gibi unsurlar bazında yapılacak tüm sorgulamalar sonucunda basılı orijinal sayfa görüntülerine pdf formatında erişilebilmektedir. Osmanlı Dönemi Meclis Tutanaklarına Erişim Sistemi’nden ise 4 Kânunuevvel 1324 Perşembe (17 Aralık 1908) ile 5 Nisan 1336 (1920) tarihleri arası 24. ara dönemi kapsayan Meclis-i Ayan ve Meclis-i Mebusan’dan oluşan Osmanlı Meclisleri yer almaktadır.
