Conference Title

Turkish Symposium of Social Sciences (TSBS) is a national scientific event organized by Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in cooperation with Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University and Oku Okut Association in order to bring together professionals and graduate students in the field of Social Sciences, to enable the exchange of experience, to strengthen interdisciplinary communication and studies, and to contribute to academic production . Applications are submitted to the review of at least two members of the Symposium Scientific Committee. Abstracts of accepted papers are published by Oku Okut Publications as the Book of Abstracts in e-book format by assigning a DOI. Full texts are taken into the evaluation process in the TSBS Journal of Proceedings (ISSN: 2980-3543) and the accepted ones are published as articles.

Aims and Scope

The Turkish Symposium of Social Sciences is an international scientific event organized to promote original, high-quality, and interdisciplinary academic studies in the field of social sciences. The symposium aims to address current theoretical and practical developments in various branches of social sciences, fostering knowledge exchange among academics, researchers, and experts.

The TSBS hosts empirical and theoretical studies conducted in disciplines such as sociology, psychology, philosophy, theology, history, political science, economics, educational sciences, communication, anthropology, and other fields of social sciences. Papers presented within the symposium must be prepared with an innovative and critical perspective while adhering to scientific research ethics.

This symposium seeks to encourage interdisciplinary approaches, bring contemporary debates in social sciences to an academic platform, and enhance engagement within the international academic community. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process and will be published to contribute to the academic world, ensuring eligibility for indexing.

Editorial Policies

All submitted conference papers are first pre-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. They are then submitted to the review of at least two experts. Papers are evaluated based on originality, scientific value, relevance to the literature, methodological rigor and overall contribution to the field.

Full papers are published in the TSBS Proceedings Journal (ISSN: 2980-3543). should include. Fully comply with established editorial guidelines, such as paper titles, fully cited references and abstracts. The papers have been presented and discussed at the conference.

Paper Titles and Paper Abstracts

The text language is Turkish, but all paper titles must include an accurate and comprehensible English translation. Turkish and English abstracts and keywords are also published.
